This week I focused on the marketing for my
business. Marketing is very important for my business as this will allow me to
gain a level of understanding on who I am aiming my business at and how I will
go about getting customers for my business.
I first looked into making a survey for my
target market to fill out. This survey will allow me to get an understanding on
what people want when buying T-shirts and Illustration prints. I will also be
able to see what people spending habits are and if they prefer to shop online
or in stores. I will get the results of this within the next week ready to
write up in my marketing strategy.
In this session I also created a customer
board. In this I showed the average customer profile of my company. I decided
from my market research that my customers would be open minded, creative,
stylish, quirky, minimal, different and artistic. This is what customers I aim
to reach when marketing my business. I found this part of my research very
useful as I was able to know what personality I want my business to have.
